Hi! I’m KRISTIN.
As a freelance writer, editor, and marketing strategist, I’ve worked with an international roster of U.S. and Paris-based clients in realms such as luxury interior products and design, architecture, coaching, academia, and womenswear. I’ve helped dozens of international companies, writers, creatives, and academics develop an effective brand voice and internet presence, using my training as a poet and my instinct for an approachable voice and cross-platform storytelling, from website copy to print, email, and social media marketing.
Then there’s the poet side: I’m the author of the poetry book Cuntry, a National Poetry Series finalist, and two chapbooks: This is a map of their watching me and Orthorexia. My fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Lit Hub, Longreads, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Bitch Magazine, Hobart, The Guardian, and various other online and print literary journals. You can check out my publications at kristindianesanders.com.
Over the last twenty years, I’ve taught English writing at international fashion design school MODART in Paris, the University of Arizona online, California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Belmont University in Nashville, Loyola University in New Orleans, and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. I hold an MFA in creative writing from Louisiana State University, and a BA in English from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
I’m originally from Santa Maria, California, and currently reside in Paris, France.
