Manuscript Editing, Coaching, and Platform Building for Writers

Investment: $1,250/month


As a writer with an MFA, a book published with a small press, and a growing list of previous client success stories, I’ll coach you through the writing process: outlining, editing, and preparing your author platform.

I’m keenly aware of how isolating it can be to write—even when we know the book is inside us, and we must birth it into the world. Whether you hope to be signed by an agent, publish with an independent press, or self-publish, with my decades of experience and warm encouragement, I’ll support you on your journey and gently push you to challenge your writing and your willingness to put yourself out there.

  • • Weekly 1-hour Zoom calls

    • Personalized feedback on your book and marketing ideas

    • Monthly editing of your manuscript chapters (up to 25 pages per week)

    • Preparing and editing agent query letters or nonfiction proposals

    • Strategizing ways to build your author platform, through the creation of a website and/or Substack, enhanced social media presence, and community engagement

  • On a monthly basis, for as many months as you need, I’ll devote 8+ hours toward our collaboration:

    • We’ll begin with an hour-long phone interview so I can understand your goals as a writer and your comfort level with marketing

    • We’ll collaborate on your edits via Word or Google Docs

    • I’ll provide 1 cycle of feedback on each document you send me weekly (up to 25 pages, whether you’re writing new work or sending existing chapters), while holding you to the timeline we set for your success

Brand Voice Development and Website Copy for Brands and Small Businesses

Whether rebranding or starting from scratch, your brand’s voice—what you say and how you say it—is a key component of branding. With my instinct for poetic, approachable voice and narrative, I’m able to assess and revamp your storytelling across all platforms—print, digital, social media, film—ascertaining opportunities for stronger connections and increased clarity.

I specialize in creating brand voice and website copy for businesses in the creative services realm—industries like architecture, interior design, and coaches—as well as lifestyle brands.

  • • Discovery and research
